Regular adult classes

are the backbone of our business. We LOVE our students and love to teach them all they need to know to complete their projects. We encourage you to make what you want to but every so often we gather the whole class to learn a new technique such as screen printing, slip decoration, decals, throwing tips and tonnes more! Whatever you want to make we can help you make it happen. We have at least 6 pottery wheels, two big handbuilding tables and loads of underglazes, glazes, tools, slips, and all you'll need to create your vision. We are always looking at new glazes and because we have a lot of knowledge on the subject, we also encourage students to make their own glaze tests for consideration for use in the studio.

Classes are Monday to Friday nights 6-9pm, Friday afternoon 2-5pm and Sunday morning 9:30-12:30 bookable in 6 week blocks. It's £168 for the 6 weeks, all materials and firings included. You can move up to 2 weeks from each block as long as we get a weeks notice. You get a 30x30cm pigeonhole to keep your partially completed projects in, any templates you're using, tools etc. And if you want to make bigger pots, we charge for storage/kiln space.

PLEASE NOTE: you need to have completed our 6 week beginners taster course before you can enroll on our regular classes. These happpen about 10 times a year, see Eventbrite to check availability and to book.

Six week beginners course

Join us for a six week course designed for total beginners (or if you haven’t done it for a while and need a refresher) to Pottery.  All materials and firings included.  We will begin to show you the possibilities of coils, slabs, pinch pots, wheel throwing, raku and glazing using relaxed informal methods. The sessions are a great way to socialise and forget all your stress!  3 hours each week on a Saturday morning or afternoon. All bookings and info at Eventbrite
