I mainly work on the wheel, but I love coming up with an idea and working out how to make it happen. Most things I make have someone in mind, with inspiration often coming from a conversation, an in-joke, or simply wanting to make something practical with a bit more personality.

Being a serial crafter means all sorts of techniques find their way into my pottery, from 3D modelling my own stamps and cutters to creating vinyl stencils. At the moment I’m enjoying learning about slip casting and already have far too many ideas....

With the help of Diane and Marv, there’s usually a way to turn whatever has popped into my head into clay.
